Welcome to Andromeda, a retro-style sci-fi shooter where you get to choose between playing as a human or an Andromedan. Your choice of race will have a significant impact on your gameplay experience. As an Andromedan, you'll move faster and use pulse energy, which means you won't have to reload. As a human, you'll have heavier firepower and your guns will do more damage to the Pulse Mutated Extraterrestrials.
In addition to the differences in gameplay mechanics, your choice of race will also affect the gear that's available to you. Andromedans will be provided with their choice of gear on site, while humans will start with just a glock and will have to purchase better weaponry at the arsenal.
