About Istanbul, Texas
Istanbul, Texas is a music centric tale of destruction, regret and repair.
A man returns to his burnt down and emptied record store, drunk and alone. Drift through the record stacks left behind in Donny's Discount Dungeon, switching your soundtrack as you stumble through breathless thoughts of past and present.

Words on Istanbul, Texas:
"The tension between the man's two states of being is unexpectedly palpable..
Her writing style seems to make even abstracted sketches of human beings feel grounded, plausible, in a way I haven't quite experienced through more traditional game dialogue"
- Leigh Alexander, Offworld
"The spirit of the desert is not quite that of the coast. It's an infinite expanse, but not the end of the world, not any world at all. Endless possibility. Impossible distance. The desert is what's left after Empire. The desert is for dreamers. The desert is real..
Istanbul, Texas is contained, not open-ended, not endless like the desert. It conforms to the structure of songs. Grief lingers, but a song ends, and there's some comfort in that."
- Alex Pieschel, The Arcade Review
