The controls set for Kano Offshore: Oceanarium utilizes both graphic user interface and keyboard controls. There are no enemies or boss fights available in Kano Offshore. For the most part, the object of the game is fairly simple - play and score as much as you can.

When launching the game, Unity as the game engine appears along with the company developer, Pioneer Inc., in the loading screen. The user is then taken to the main menu as the title of the game “KANO OFFSHORE: OCEANARIUM” is highlighted on the screen. Under the menu, players have the option to pick from two different mini-games: Dolphin Aquatic Dance and Narwhal Migration.
